In answer to your letter of the 13th. -

ultimo, in which you inquire as to whether our Company' a aystem

is worked in compliance with the Board of Trade Regulations,

cited under headings No. 1 to 5, in your letter, and in the

event of the regulations not being worked to, whether the

Company has any good reasons to offer against an Ordinance

being passed compelling them to conform to such rules. We

submit to you, in explaining our Kowloon system as under, that

it has been laid down, to comply substantially with the afore-

-mentioned regulations.

Our supply of electric energy at Kowloon,

and Yaumati, is carried as follows:-
